Hardly any traffic passed this way, but George wanted to change the lightbulb anyways. Maybe the light would help warm the space up.

Done with that, it was back up the hallway, down the stairs, drop off the ladder, back up the stairs, down the hallway, left, left, and elevator down to L31. The doors opened and George could see his breath. Stepping off, Dr Marshall rushed past him, back against the elevator wall. His hands appeared black.

“Y-yy–y-you c-c-can’t go tt-t-hat way”

George took one look down the increasingly frosted corridor and turned back to Marshall.

“Don’t gotta tell me twice”

Back up the elevator, right, right, up the hallway the light he just changed was flickering and frosted.

“Wait, stop! We have to find another way!”

The light went out and George felt an unrelenting cold rip through him. Run

Left, then left, but the elevator was ice.

It was on them.

George turned to face the haze of white barring down on him, but before he could make out the pursuer George was already frozen solid.
